"Big Foot" Skid Shoes - All Rhino flex-wing cutters feature heavy-duty "Big Foot" center section skid shoes. Compared to competitive units, these skid shoes are wider, thicker, and more heavily reinforced to the cutter's mainframe for a longer wear and extra protection. They are also wider apart than those on most competitive cutters to provide greater protection against "bottoming out." The SR and FL series feature replaceable 1/4" x 10 1/2" side skirts for easier repair and easier mowing of large volumes of material.

Wing Float - A special "free-float" wing cylinder lug design helps reduce wear and tear on the wing hydraulic cylinders internal components. The wing is able to float to better follow ground contours more easily without the cylinder rod moving. (Except SE15-4A) The attachment of the cylinder to the lug is a precise fit, as compared to some competitive cutters where a slot is used to allow the wing to float. The Rhino design helps minimize wear and shock loads to components. The wing transport bar is standard for greater safety and stores neatly out of the way when not in use.

FL15 Wing Hinge Support - The SR15, FL15 Magnum models feature continuously welded wing hinge tubes from front-to-rear for greater load bearing capabilities. All Rhino flex-wing cutters feature a one-piece, solid steel hinge pin for maximum strength and precise wing alignment. (Chain Guards are Optional Equipment; Deflectors are Standard)

SE-154A Axle and Durable Tongue - The durable hitch features tubular construction, a slotted clevis, and an adjustable control rod for maximum wear life. The adjustable control rod keeps the clevis parallel with the tract drawbar. The welded mechanical level lift axle works with either 4, 6, or 8 tires to provide a level cut across the full width of the mower.
SE15-4A Pan Blade Carriers - The SE15-4A features 3/16" thick, reinforced pan carriers and 1/2" x 4" updraft blades as standard equipment. The blades overlap 6" to provide a clean cut. All Rhino flex-wing cutters are "clean" underneath for an unobstructed flow of material through the cutting chamber.

Smooth Deck Design - The SR 15 and FL15 Magnum feature a smooth top deck design. The new design creates on of the strongest and easiest-to-clean decks offered on any flex-wing cutter. The heavily reinforced 7 gauge deck ensures the same strength Rhino flex-wings have long been known for. Clean off has never been easier with the redesigned wing sections and the 10 gauge top deck sheet that covers the entire center section.

SR Gearbox and Reinforced Dishpans - The pan blade carriers on the SR series are 3/16" thick and help the unit glide over obstructions. Unlike most competitive cutters, the pans on the SR series are welded to the main bar and are cross-braced and welded to help prevent cracking or bending. The output shaft on the SR series gearbox is 2-3/8" in diameter for superior strength.

FL15 Heavy-Duty Pan Blade Carriers - The super-duty pan blade carriers of the FL15 Magnum are 3/16" thick and reinforced by a 3/4" solid steel plate in the bottom of the pans. Besides adding strength durability to the pan, the extra weight provides a "flywheel effect" in demanding cutting conditions which reduces operating costs. Lower gearbox seal protection is provided by a flange on the blade hub that completely overlaps the lower gearbox housing.

Offset FLEX-WING Cutters

All Rhino flex-wing cutters are available in an offset version. A counterweight box on the opposite side serves as a side skirt and helps offset the weight of the single-wing design.
