A newly designed compact tractor with a performance-matched loader and backhoe, offering greater power, versatility and durability.

L48TL-SG and L48TLB-SG

Equipped with Spill Guard (Anti-spill mechanism), a time-proven feature on the B21/L35, the L48 tractor/loader/backhoe takes performance to a new level.

E-TVCS Diesel Engine

Kubota's E-TVCS diesel engine gives the B21, L35 and L48 a total balance of high power, low noise and low vibration, quick starts and environment-friendly qualities. This engine delivers high output, powerful low-speed torque and a high torque rise for dependable performance under heavy loads. In addition, a highly rigid tunnel-type cylinder block makes the engine tough and durable, while the smooth, radial flow of the cooling air reduces noise and increases comfort. Kubota's super-glow preheat system ensures cold-weather starts down to 5 deg.F (-15 deg. C) with just five seconds of preheating. Both the muffler and exhaust pipe are enclosed inside the engine compartment for better forward visibility. Moreover, The air cleaner is designed to purge itself of heavy dire particles

HST (Hydrostatic Transmission)
B21

The superb maneuverability comes from our hydrostatic transmission and 4WD system. A single pedal controls both speed and direction changes quickly and without shifting or clutching. This is especially helpful when working in tight spaces. You can easily select the best speed and power for a given job with the three-range transmission.

Concealed Muffler

No large, obstructing exhaust stack to impair your forward vision. We've tucked it away so all you see is the work area ahead of you.

Live Continuous running PTO

Rear-mounted PTO driven implements such as rotary tillers and post hole diggers are easily handled. The live PTO provides continuous operation without interruption whn stopping or changing direction.

L48

This allows you to attach a trailer to the L48 to shuttle cargo to and from work sites.

GST (Glide Shift Transmission)
L35

The L35's GST is a hydraulically shifted mechanical transmission that increases your productivity. Just move the shift lever or the shuttle lever. this kind of smooth, quick, shock-resistant shifting enhances operating precision. Reduced power loss also means more engine power for the job at hand.

Hard Nose Slanted Hood and Front Guard

Gain an unobstructed view of what lies ahead thanks to the hard-nose, slanted hood. The loader bucket easy to see in the down position and the front grill guard helps to protect the hood and engine componenets from any type of impact.

3-Point Hitch

The large-capacity hydraulic pump and cylinder provide powerful lifting for the 3-point hitch. This allows you to use a wider range of implements with the B21/L35/L48. The responsive position control lever ensures accurate and smooth 3-point hitch positioning.

ROPS/FOPS for Safety

The B21 and L35 come with a 4-post rollover protective structure (ROPS) with retractable seat belt, as well as a falling-object protective structure (FOPS). So you work in greater safety, as well as greater comfort.

HST "Feather Step" Transmission
L48

The "Feather Step" HST ease of operation is due to the hydraulic servo that gives you improved control by reducing the amount of pedal pressure needed to depress the HST pedal. Forward and reverse movements are easy when using the loader. And, regardless of the load, you will not experience sudden pedal pressure changes. Operation is smooth even when making sudden stops or directional changes.

Differential Lock
(Rear Wheels)

The B21/L35/L48 feature a quick-acting rear differential lock that prevents one-wheel slippage in mud, sand or snow by applying power equally to both wheels. The result is greater mobility and maneuverability under a wide range of operating conditions.

Large-Capacity Hydraulic System

A high performance hydraulic system is standard on the B21/ L35/L48. The system includes a large cartridge-type oil filter with a 70-micron filtration capacity to protect the hydraulics and increase their service life.

Integrated Frame

A strong integrated frame means your B21/L35 is ready to tackle the toughest of jobs. This loader-integrated, reinforced frame was designed particularly strong for the B21/L35 and easily withstands tough commercial/utility work.

Bevel-Gear Four-Wheel Drive

The front wheels turn tighter with Kubota's bevel-gear four-wheel drive system. This system is hermetically sealed to prevent water or mud damage. Regardless of the turning angle up to 55 deg. (B21 and L35), power is transmitted smoothly to the wheels. You get the advantages of greater work efficiency with tighter turns and smoother driving power, plus more mobility in all operations with your B21 and L35

Easy Checker® Instrument Panel

With the Easy Checker® instrument panel, you can increase your work efficiency by monitoring engine conditions on the go. Engine speed, engine operating hours, fuel level, coolant temperature and engine oil pressure can be easily verified with a quick glance. A highly visible electrical charge lamp, parking brake indicator and air cleaner indicator (L35 &L48) help you avoid costly downtime by continually monitoring performance while your tractor is at work.

Front Loader

Designed to offer a precise balance between easy operation and powerful lifting force, these versatile bucket loaders come available in standard or heavy-duty to match any job requirement.

Self-Leveling

An exclusive feature for this class of tractor. By simply moving the joystick to the "Up" position, the bucket automatically maintains a constant angle as the boom is raised or lowered. This minimizes spillage prior to dumping and makes the loader easier to operate. In addition, the L48 features a Hydraulic Self-Leveling valve. This maintains the "Up" or "Down" position of the bucket. This feature is extremely convenient when using palet forks.

Joystick Control

Using only the single joystick lever, you can esily control multiple functions such as raising or lowering the mboom, bucket dump, bucket rollback or even

combining the functions to increase productivity.Also, we've designed into our performance matched system a regenerative circuit that allows for faster dump cycles.

Maximum Rollback/Dump /Angles

Rotation achieved from the 4-bar linkange system reaches 45 degrees of rollback and dump angles. These angles mean you can fill and dump buckets easier and faster, maximizing your productivity.

Metal Bushings

Replaceable bushings are incorporated into the design and are strategically located at the pivot points to allow you to economically replace and maintain a like-new fit.

Backhoe
With loads of new features, the backhoe is stronger, sturdier and easier to use than ever before.

Dig through stubborn ground to a depth of 11.1 feet (SAE 2 ft flat bottom) with the L48, 9.2 feet with the L35 and 7.5 feet with the B21. These back hoes can handle a variety of jobs efficiently. Furthermore, the L48 provides a dedicated pump for the boom swing, which enables greater simultaneous operation.

Starter Switch (L48)

Now, starting the engine when you are in the backhoe operating position is easy, because we've placed the starter switch in a new position - right next to you. No need to reach around and fumble for the standard switch.

Reversible Stabilizer
Pads (L48)

The double-sided stablilizer pads can be reversed to provide maximum stability on any surface. The cleat side offers increased grip on soft ground, while the flat side protects concrete, asphalt and other hard surfaces from damage.

One-Touch Reversible High-Back Seat

The B21 and L35 offer a High-Back deluxe seat that provides daylong comfort and reduced operator fatigue. It also adjusts forward or backward with just a touch and can be quickly reversed for backhoe operation. L48 offers a convenient walk-through platform that eliminates tractor dismounting. Now, just reverse the seat, stiep in, and you are ready to work. It's that easy. Plus, the seat is designed to rotate 15 degrees to the right, providing the ideal position when using our rear implements.

Quick -Mount Attach/Detach

Featureing a four-point mount quick attach system, the backhoe can be installed and removed easily. This is what firmly sets these tractors apart from all others in their class.

20° Angle of Departure

High ground clearance provides a generous angle of departure. This allows you to load quickly and easily onto a trailer, and helps prevent damage to curbs when moving from job to job.

Dual level Joystick Console
