Engine:
The amazingly durable and fuel-efficient water-cooled diesel engines on our ZD series exceed the high expectations of professional users by being able to take on large loads for extended periods. Choose either 18 or 21 HP, these engines do the fob with ease, all day, everyday, year in and year out.

Low Fuel Consumption:
The ZD series engines practically sip their fuel, so you'll get outstanding fuel economy from these superbly running high torque diesels.

Safety Start System:
With operator safety in mind, we've designed a safety start system that will only allow the engine to be started when the operator is seated, the parking brake engaged, the PTO is in neutral and the neutral lock is engaged. If, at any time while the engine is running you leave your seat, the engine will automatically shut down.

Transmission
Superior durability of the entire driveline was of utmost importance when we decided to incorporate an integral-type twin hydrostatic transmission as part of the ZD series. The hermetically sealed structure (Hydrostat and Final Drive) requires no maintenance except for an occasional fluid change. And no belt replacement is necessary.

PTO Clutch

To reduce downtime, the ZD series is equipped with a wear-resistant wet-type multi-disk PTO Clutch allowing you to work longer but not harder. With unsurpassed

durability it will smoothly transfer power with absolute efficiency. For safety, the PTO clutch is also equipped with an internal brake, stopping the mower blades just seconds after disengagement.

Deluxe Seat

Outstanding Comfort is what you feel with our standard deluxe link-type suspension seat with arm rests. You'll be positioned at just the right place to appreciate the

maximum support and comfort offered by this incredible seat. The end result, you'll feel less fatigued, not like you've just worked all day, and that's the way it should be!

Control Panel and Levers

For convenience, the Operators Control Panel with Throttle, PTO Lever, Hyd Lift Lever, Hour Meter and Start Switch

are all located to the right of the operator, within easy reach.

Hydraulic Lift and Cutting Adjustment Dial

The mid-mount mower is easily raised and lowered hydraulically, while cutting height is adjusted quickly with just a twist of the height adjustment dial. Both

controls are within easy reach from the driver's seat, making operations easy.

Durable Mower

We've increased the durability of our low-noise, mid-mount mower by adding our multi-belt system that includes cast iron pulley's. This

system is currently being used on other Kubota commercial mowers. Noise levels are kept to a minimum while maintaining a high quality cut, allowing us to reduce operator fatigue which makes your job more enjoyable

Catching grass has never been easier, or more efficient

The PTO powered blower forces clippings into a large 12-bushel hopper, allowing you to mow longer on a larger area without stopping as often to empty clippings.

Tilt-up Mechanism

The Industry's First. Kubota's unique Tilt-up feature allows the front of the ZD series to be easily raised to perform periodic maintenance without having to remove the mid-mount mower. It's like having a built-in jack right there when you need it.
